Giving back to the community

Hello everyone and welcome to our February blog.

This month we would like to talk about one of the most important values of Quarrybank plumbers: giving back.

We genuinely believe that giving back to society is what holds communities together.

Sharing services and knowledge but also wealth, regardless how small or large, makes a huge difference to organisations which thrive from donations and sponsorships.

Quarrybank plumbers are proud sponsors of Mountfield Rovers U8’ team based in Bramhall.

You would have probably seen some photographs on our website of happy, red-cheeked boys and girls in stripy tops. We are extremely pleased, we were able to contribute to their physical development, so important at their young age.

We, at Quarrybank plumbers are massive football fans. We won’t be mentioning any team in particular, as this could result in us losing some social followers but we greatly believe that sport and healthy competition is a great way for young people to keep fit, develop new skills and learn social skills.

Why Mountfield Rovers?

Quarrybank plumbers operates in Wilmslow and surrounding areas of Cheshire and Mountfield Rovers are one of the oldest youth football clubs in the area, providing fantastic coaching and facilities to energetic pupils.

Mountfield committee member, Steven Zartarian comments:

– “At Moutfield, we see ourselves as a football family as well as a club. Our main aim is to provide a club for local children to come and have fun and enjoy the game.

While we try and install the competitiveness and love any success that comes, the main goal is for the players to enjoy themselves be it at training or on match day, and learn everything that comes from being part of a team”.

Our Managing director and his team often go to watch the team play tournaments on Saturday mornings, and we couldn’t be more proud to see how well the club is doing and how eager to play those young boys are.

– “We are very happy to be involved and sponsor such a thriving youth organisation” – says, Steven Hume, Managing Director at Quarrybank plumbers.

Peter Shaw, U8’ team coach adds:

– “Mounfield is the oldest grassroots team in Bramhall. We pride ourselves in being a community club with football for players at all levels. We have recently been able to grow many teams from U7’s all the way up to U17’s”.

Mountfield Rovers are a non-profit making organisation run by volunteers so any sponsorship from local business is always more than welcome and greatly appreciated.
